CALENDARS FOR CHRISTMAS

A gift that helps someone start their year off right…

So, I can’t take credit for this idea either!  But it’s a great one.  My aunt sent me an email with a list of things (not so expensive things) that she loves and would treasure as gifts for Christmas.  A calendar was one of them.

This naturally got me to thinking – yeah, a calendar.  But so much more than calendars… planners, agendas, and calendars that look like art.  There’s a plethora of choices that will literally make someone’s new year.

Here are some of my favorites.  Be inspired.

Wall Calendars

Garance Dore Wall CalendarThis Garance Dore wall calendar on Rifle Paper Co. is my choice for next year.  But don’t be limited to fashion – pets, cars, cities – whatever floats the boat of the person your gifting it to.

PrintThis tea towel calendar from Spoonflower is pretty and functional and reminds me of something my grandmother would have loved.

Planners & Agendas

Bobs Your Uncle 8 Day Journal

I love Bob’s Your Uncle – one of my favorite products, the 8 Days Pad, is no longer available on the site, but this 8 Days a Week Journal is just as sweet for organizing your life.

Kate Spade 2015 Agenda Kate Spade also has a cute agenda on her site that I wouldn’t mind gifting to one of my stylish friends.

Desk Calendars

Garance Dore 2015 CalendarSo I hate to be repetitive, but Garance Dore has done it twice with calendars this year.  This flip calendar is custom made for my work desk.  But as you buy think about witty calendars that friends and family or co-workers and comrades can keep on their desk.  I also like flip calendars that are empowering… but at the end of the day, it’s the buyer’s choice.

Expressionery Desk CalendarExpressionery, a favored spot, does something especially cool which is personalized desk calendars.  If someone you know and love (pretty well) has specific goals in areas of their life, this is perfect and you can put their name on it!
