The greatest gift of retirement is time…

So help your favorite retirees cozy up with magazines that tickle their fancies and reflect their interests with a gift subscription to a magazine or two.  For golfers, may I suggest a subscription to Golf Magazine.  For fashionistas, InStyle or Vogue might do.  For runners or health enthusiasts, there’s a host of options.

I’m always one to hype another blog and in my research I came across a great one appropriately titled “A Magazine Makes a Great Gift.”  (after all I’m not the only one with ideas).

So explore, enjoy, and be inspired.

TABLETS AS RETIREMENT GIFTS

Now there’s really no excuse not toStack of Tablets keep in touch…

Over the past six months I’ve been to more retirement ceremonies and luncheons than I can count.  But there is always a challenge of how to find the perfect gift for that special someone embarking upon a new phase in his or her life.

I was inspired by a friend, and now retired co-worker, who invested in a tablet for herself so that she could keep up with her family and friends and handle her business from wherever she landed.

So may I suggest a tablet (the brand is up to you) for your favorite retiree.  Consider it an expensive upgrade from stationary.
